			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;ve read my previous articles on how to sleep less and get more time to devoted to work then you&#8217;d know about the 3 systems that are said to give more productive hours in a day without having to sacrifice health or sanity.</p>
<p>With the release of Blizzard&#8217;s esteemed Diablo III, I&#8217;m willing to try out another polyphasic sleep pattern again (Everyman 2-nap polyphasic sleep pattern) to maximize the day without causing any health detriments.</p>
<p>The last time I adapted a polyphasic sleep pattern was in my college days where we had to work on graduation requirements such as thesis studies, and so on. I practically slept less than 5 hours a day for weeks on then that time.</p>
<p>Seeing as I need the time to determine whether or not the Diablo III&#8217;s RMAH can replace my day job, I need twice as much of my waking time to determine whether playing Diablo III 8 hours a day is more profitable as compared to working 8 hours a day in a third world country. And I think it&#8217;s time once again to adopt a far more effective and flexible polyphasic sleep pattern</p>

The real cause of grogginess is because because of waking up from deep sleep or from being awakened from a deep sleep by something noisy. Too much sleep can also cause a form of headache so it&#8217;s necessary to sleep only as much as your body and mind needs.</p>

<p>Open your windows up, and let the sunshine in. Sunlight has special properties that, even on indirect contact with the human body, sends wake up signals to the brain. With that our brain and body both get ready to wake up before we actually do, making waking up a very comfortable and natural experience.</p>
<p>Indirect sunlight is more advisable than letting the sun&#8217;s rays actually hit you. As long as sunlight enters your room, it will be able to help you wake up.</p>
<p>Get into a routine of waking up and not falling to sleep in 15 minutes</p>
<p>Some of us have this nasty habit of falling back to sleep whenever we wake up naturally without any external stimuli. Actually, when you wake up naturally without any external stimuli, your body is already saying that it already has gotten enough sleep. Your brain however is a different case. Your brain, having just woken up is still not fully awake and will convince your consciousness that it still needs some more sleep.</p>
<p>If you deny your brain from sleeping for at least 15 minutes, I found that it can really be the difference of falling back to sleep and waking up groggy or being up and running with productive work.</p>

The purpose of sleep has yet been completely determined by modern science, but we do know one thing. It&#8217;s that the lack of sleep has very dangerous consequences for both our health and our safety, especially for drivers and navigators.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hence the need to ensure a good night&#8217;s rest before any day. Here are some ways you can keep yourself from being disturbed during the night and keep your nights restful and peaceful.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Don&#8217;t use your hands to hold your food. </strong><span style="text-align: justify;">Holding your food with your bare hands is a very bad habit that should be avoided. At least I avoid it like the plague. The reason being that almost everything your hand touches is already teeming with bacteria that could cause diarrhea and numerous gastrointestinal aches and pains. Take your phone for example. Did you know that recent studies have shown fecal bacteria found in phones&#8217; keypads could cause an upset stomach? <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Do everything that there is to be done by establishing routines and keeping a planner. </strong><span style="text-align: justify;">Ever had that feeling that there is something left undone? Sometimes this feeling can keep you up for hours on end sometimes. It&#8217;s as bad as an upset stomach. Establishing rituals or routines before going to bed is a very good way to keep yourself from worrying that you missed something. Also keeping a planner and listing every task that comes your way is a good way to avoid missing tasks, as long as you get the time to read what you wrote.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Keep your bed and clothes clean. </strong><span style="text-align: justify;">For people like me who can&#8217;t stand feeling itchy and scratchy or pests crawling around, it&#8217;s best to always eat away from your bed and keep your clothes clean. Having a nasty itch on any part of your body can keep you awake for hours on end too.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>If you have a pet, try a white noise machine to keep them asleep. </strong><span style="text-align: justify;">A white noise machine can keep dogs and cats with sensitive ears from waking you up when they hear some strange noises outside. If your dogs sleep better, they won&#8217;t wake you up either. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last Sunday, I was with my mom and we planned to go to church together. Normally we&#8217;d go to church in the afternoon, but this time I decided to do productivity experiment to free up some time. Living in an urban environment can get you wasting quite a lot of time on the road stuck in traffic. What I did was experiment doing things against the multitude of the majority&#8217;s habits. We went to a MacDonald&#8217;s near the bus stop to going to church to have lunch at precisely 11am. It&#8217;s surprising how much different the line is from 11am to 12pm. The food is pretty much prepped up for the noon crowd, but the line is barely there. We were able to finish lunch at 11:30. Whereas I would normally would have finished in 45 minutes when I normally had lunch there at 12pm. More time is saved because there were less seats taken, there was no line, and the food was already prepared.</p>
<p>Not so many people go to church at 12 noon, since the majority were eating their lunches. Not only were we able to avoid traffic, but we also avoided a crowded chapel. Fortunately for us, the chapel had services every hour without taking a break, so we were able to get home before 2pm. Just in time to do some catching up and spend a productive afternoon at home.</p>
<p>Going against the crowd can easily save your time. There is less traffic, less waiting queues, and lesser stress. When I wake up an extra 30 minutes early just to take a ride to work, I experience less traffic on the way and a get to be with a better crowd of people. Just last Valentine&#8217;s day, all of my relatives and coworkers all had their appointments ruined by the raging crowd of couples that were celebrating that day. The traffic was as intolerable as the restaurants were filled. Fortunately, my girlfriend and I saved the stress and the time by celebrating Valentine&#8217;s day a few days in advance.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know how much this method can apply to saving time and effort, but if your&#8217;re like me who wants to free up more of your time without sacrificing your sleep, try going against the crowd&#8217;s habits.</p>

You can always invite his or friends over instead if you are willing to accomodate. Or simply give your child a reason in terms that he/she will understand. You can remind him/her that he/she can do other things that are in line with their long term goals instead of giving in to peer pressure. It is difficult to compete with his/her peers, hence, you have to appeal to his/her own interests.</p>
<h2>Make Sure They Are Accessible via Phone</h2>
<p>To put your worries to rest, you can get the contact number of the parents where your children are staying at. Aside from the child&#8217;s mobile phone, you may want to make sure you can check on how they are doing any time throughout their stay.</p>
<h2>Learn to put your foot down</h2>
<p>If it is against your better judgment for your kid to spend the night at his or friends&#8217; house. You need to put your foot down. Don&#8217;t let their tantrums or pouting mouths get you down. It is always better to be safe than sorry. The best thing you can do in a situation like this is explain the reason why you won&#8217;t allow him or her to spend the night. If you opt to put it off by making up other reasons up, they will come to see you as the reason why they&#8217;re not able to go and will probably constantly blame you for it for a long time.</p>

Mainly because taking a shower just before the day starts boosts up their self confidence by removing or reducing natural odor and some eye crusts, removes or reduces their sleepiness, adds an additional fragrance,  gives an opportunity to completely groom yourself (shaving, waxing, etc) , and gives the sense of an over-all better hygiene.</p>
<p>For me it is a different story though. Living in an urban environment, I&#8217;ve observed that the air  most urban city dwellers are exposed to is extremely dirty. I mean, taking a look at our glass pane window, I can see some droplets of rain printed on it by soot and dust. Not only is the air in an urban environment unclean, almost everything public that your body touches is relatively unclean.</p>
<p>The way I see it is that the moment you step out of your home after taking good care and taking a bath, you just end up getting dirty right away. Then, after getting home tired from work or school, you neglect the fact that you bring all the soot, dust, bacteria, and germs right back to your sleeping place. It&#8217;s a cycle that most people don&#8217;t realize they&#8217;re experiencing in their day to day grind in and out of the office.</p>

<li> You waste time in preparation and execution. How long does one take to prepare a bath, take it, then clean up after. Not to mention the time you take in the maintenance of your bathroom. A person with so much things to do in the morning would really benefit from the time they get out of doing something else rather than spending more time cleaning up so that they can get dirty again in a few minutes.</li>

<li> Too much of something is a bad thing. Yes, it&#8217;s true. While most soap and cleaning products are good at taking away the bacteria or odor. It also strips away the nutrients from your skin bit by bit. Especially for those who cannot afford luxury soap products that commercially claim to enrich the skin with vitamins, using normal soap excessively  can damage the skin.</li>

<li> Alternatives. There are some alternatives you can take than can still keep your hygiene level up to an exceptional level without taking a full bath. You need only to clean the parts that you need cleaning, and those parts are probably not exposed to public objects at all.</li>

<li> You can clean yourself before going to sleep. Since you&#8217;re going to spend 6-9 hours in your bedroom, where it should be clean and comfy, why not clean yourself up before going to bed instead of after coming from that clean place to begin with. Sleeping in correct temperature can reduce sweat and taking a bath before going to sleep can reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin to begin with. It is bacteria and the food that you eat that causes odor not sweat itself.</li>
</ul>
<p>But for most of the people who still cannot live without taking a bath in the morning, and cannot take these reasons into consideration, there is no harm in taking a shower in the morning(except for the reasons stated above), so long as you remember to take one at night before <a title="Advise from a Fellow Side Sleeper" href="http://easysnooze.com/advise-from-a-fellow-sidesleeper/">going to sleep </a>as well, just to make sure you&#8217;re all clean and comfy when you go to sleep.</p>
